As a Project Manager, you will become an integral part of our Delivery team in Toronto, Canada. You will lead the deployment of Shift’s AI solutions for our global insurance clients, bridging the gap between our technical teams and client stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on guiding projects from initial scoping to sustainable, long-term success. By anticipating risks and fostering strong, trust-based relationships, you will ensure our products deliver significant value across various markets. This hybrid role requires you to be present in the Toronto office two days a week, playing a crucial part in the collaborative execution that defines our success at Shift.

Your Impact:

At Shift, we emphasize accountability from day one. In this role, you will:

  • Proactively Drive Projects: Take charge of project milestones, swiftly resolving any blockers to maintain delivery timelines. Collaborate with our technical program management team to align the product roadmap with the project plan and ensure efficient execution of the release process.
  • Simplify Technical Complexities: Translate complex technical requirements and project plans into straightforward, accessible language for internal teams, customers, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Leverage Data and Emotional Intelligence: Manage intricate client relationships by balancing hard project data with emotional intelligence to navigate high-pressure scenarios effectively.
  • Innovate and Improve: Experiment with new project management methodologies and share insights to enhance the delivery organization’s speed and quality.
  • Address Challenges Collaboratively: Tackle delivery issues directly and constructively, focusing on collaborative solutions rather than assigning blame.
  • Communicate Effectively: Tailor your communication style to unify diverse stakeholders, from operational teams to senior management, around shared goals.
