Role overview
This Project Manager position sits within the Programme Management Office. The role leads project teams to improve efficiency, manage costs, and reduce risks across the business. Much of the work centers on technology-driven changes and software transformation projects that directly influence business outcomes.
What you will do
- Oversee projects from start to finish, keeping work within agreed scope, timeline, and budget.
- Define project scope, secure resources, and address risks throughout each project phase.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure the right support and resources are available for delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and sponsors to meet business objectives.
- Monitor and report on project progress, with attention to financials, budget, and benefits realization.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
- Relevant certification such as Prince2, PMBOK, or a related tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrated experience delivering software or system-based projects (infrastructure experience not required).
- Strong communication skills, including experience presenting to steering committees.
- Familiarity with Genesys Cloud is a plus, but not essential.
- Understanding of the energy industry and its regulatory environment.
