As a Project Engineer II, you will be pivotal in coordinating and executing construction projects from inception to completion. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams, you will ensure that all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet client expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in project planning by developing comprehensive schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate timely material and service delivery.
- Managing all project documentation, including revisions of drawings, requests for information (RFIs), change orders, and submittals.
- Monitoring project progress and providing consistent updates to the project team and clients.
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in a Project Engineer role within the construction sector.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- PMP certification is highly regarded.
