Key Responsibilities:
- Deep knowledge of the authority guidelines, standards, and requirements in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and KSA.
- Comprehensive understanding of dry utilities and infrastructure project requirements from the concept masterplan phase through to the Issued For Construction (IFC) stage.
- Solid infrastructure engineering foundation with a track record in infrastructure projects, including primary substations, EHV, HV & LV corridors, distribution substations, and feeder pillars.
- Expertise in telecommunication infrastructure network design, including ducts, manholes, and GSM tower coverage parameters.
- Design and calculation of street lighting across various road types, including load schedules and landscape lighting wiring.
- Effective coordination with other disciplines such as wet utilities, roads, transportation, landscaping, and building teams.
- Skilled in managing design and approval processes while engaging with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Adept with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and proficient in relevant software; Revit knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to navigate from the concept master plan stage to detailed planning in terms of utility corridor space proofing and requirements.
- Establish connections with local authorities across the Middle East.
- Prepare NOC submissions as per the requirements of relevant authorities.
- Provide clarifications for Contractor RFIs and review/approve technical submissions related to electrical works and dry utilities as necessary.
- Embrace digitalization efforts, innovating to improve workload management and deliverables.
- Utilize leadership skills to foster relationships and cultivate effective working environments.
- Collaborate with diverse teams across various geographic and cultural backgrounds.
