ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Project Developer specializing in the Built Environment, you will be at the forefront of developing solar, solar + storage, and standalone energy storage projects within urban, commercial, and infrastructure-adjacent locations across the United States. These initiatives will be initiated by the C&I sales and/or greenfield site origination teams at Pivot Energy, and you will guide the projects through the phases of permitting, interconnection, environmental diligence, and more, before handing them over to the Project Delivery team for the construction phase.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with various internal teams and manage external contractors throughout the project lifecycle. We are looking for an individual with exceptional organizational capabilities, a knack for navigating complex jurisdictional environments, and the skill to manage stakeholder expectations across multiple projects with clear communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Your primary responsibilities will encompass overseeing project development from site acquisition to project delivery (construction, pre-NTP), focusing on interconnection, site diligence, and permitting for renewable energy facilities, particularly C&I projects (including rooftop, ground-mount, or carport PV; battery energy storage) and/or greenfield energy storage projects nationwide.
