Qualifications

7+ years of experience in a Project Cost Controls role, ideally within the Oil & Gas, Industrial Construction, or Fabrication sectors. Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, coupled with strong organizational skills, efficiency, and self-motivation. Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information. Background in IT, Project Controls, Construction, and/or Accounting is advantageous.

As the Project Controls Lead at FLINT Corp, you will play a pivotal role in steering project success through meticulous planning, monitoring, and controlling of key project parameters. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing precise data, tracking project performance metrics, identifying potential risks, and facilitating informed decision-making. Your contributions will directly impact the effective management of timelines, costs, and resources, tailored to the complexity and unique needs of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee total project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary and financial objectives.
  • Deliver planning and cost-control support, which includes variation reporting, progress tracking, and customer billing management.
  • Work collaboratively with project management teams to resolve challenges, ensuring timely project delivery and completion, and prepare analytical reports regarding project performance.
  • Conduct regular project costing analyses, comparing actual versus budgeted expenditures, evaluating man-hour productivity, and providing daily cost estimates utilizing program KPIs.
  • Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to effectively manage purchase orders, invoicing, progress tracking, and project closure processes.
