Each parcel that passes through our system enhances network intelligence, and we maintain high standards on key performance metrics: on-time attempts, on-time delivery, did-not-receive rates, and lost-in-transit statistics. When performance dips, the solution often spans multiple teams within the network.As the Client Network Performance Programme Manager, you will spearhead initiatives to enhance network performance for Relay’s key accounts. You will identify critical operational issues, collaborate with diverse teams to uncover root causes, develop structured improvement plans, and drive execution. Accountability for improvement roadmaps rests with you, alongside tracking progress and communicating our achievements to clients to demonstrate consistent, measurable enhancements.This role serves as a vital connector among Relay's elite operational teams, account managers, and data capabilities, ensuring that both problem solvers and client communicators have the necessary resources to succeed.

Demand forecasting informs shift scheduling in sortation, while expansion models identify opportunities for network growth. Our parcel intelligence is essential for optimizing route planning and vehicle loading. When our squad enhances a model, its effects resonate across multiple teams, including Finance, ultimately impacting Relay's cost per parcel.We are expanding the squad from four to ten members, including Data Scientists, Analysts, and a Software Engineer, all contributing to a system that encompasses demand forecasting, expansion modeling, parcel dimensions, sortation predictions, and demand management. This system interacts with Sortation, Middle Mile, Last Mile, Routing, and Commercial operations, as well as Finance, who utilize operational forecasts to create long-term financial projections. It also benefits from the insights of four embedded analysts within other teams across the company.As the Programme Manager for the Network squad, your role will be to coordinate the delivery of this comprehensive system. You will transform the squad's roadmap into a structured program, monitoring commitments, managing inter-squad dependencies, removing obstacles, and keeping all stakeholders updated.
