Role Overview
The Program Manager for Specialty Programs is pivotal in the design, implementation, and scaling of Atria’s specialty offerings throughout the organization. This position acts as the operational backbone for specialty care, alleviating administrative burdens on clinical teams, facilitating Chief Medical Officers in maintaining coordinated oversight, and ensuring an exceptional member experience.
As Atria expands its services across more than 12 specialties—including Neurology, Cardiology, Women’s Health, Genetics, Sleep Medicine, and Metabolic Health—the Program Manager ensures that each specialty operates with clarity, consistency, and scalability, all while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Care Delivery Design
- Establish and standardize workflows across specialty and longitudinal care programs.
- Convert clinical guidelines into repeatable, scalable processes.
- Define care pathways, escalation criteria, and follow-up standards to ensure accountability.
- Design and manage comprehensive specialty workflows from referral to follow-up.
- Minimize administrative burdens on clinical teams by streamlining:
- Chart preparation and visit readiness protocols.
- Prior authorization processes for medications, diagnostics, and devices.
- Lab logistics including add-ons, missing results, and redraw coordination.
- Complex testing workflows, such as growth hormone stimulation tests, sleep studies, and personalized nutrient programs.
- Identify inefficiencies and continuously refine specialty care delivery models.
- Act as a neutral operational intermediary between primary care leadership and specialists.
- Lighten cognitive and administrative load on CMOs by fostering structure, visibility, and follow-through across specialties.
Strategic Program Leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of cross-specialty programs that promote operational efficiency, innovation, and clinical excellence across Atria locations.
- Oversee high-impact projects from inception and stakeholder engagement to execution and ongoing enhancement.
- Translate organizational priorities into scalable clinical programs and business processes with clearly defined KPIs and ROI metrics.
Enterprise Optimization & Governance
- Implement frameworks designed to streamline clinical and operational workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance scalability.
- Establish and oversee a robust governance system for monitoring and performance evaluation.
