Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices is highly desirable.

This position operates on a hybrid work model and reports to the Manager of Technical Program Management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the comprehensive project timeline, status updates, and process metrics to effectively communicate risk assessments and rollout strategies to stakeholders.
  • Lead the Intellectual Property (IP) Investigations Program: Hold full accountability for the entire investigation lifecycle concerning sensitive issues, ensuring meticulous documentation that adheres to legal requisites.
  • Establish and uphold stringent policies for vulnerability response, including defining Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and tracking Mean Time to Remediation (MTTR).
  • Develop and spearhead a detailed cybersecurity, IP, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) security awareness and training strategy that equips our growing workforce with the necessary knowledge and tools to support Waymo's mission and maintain our technical advantage as we expand globally.
  • Collaborate with the Legal team to create and implement a cross-functional enterprise-level framework for data sensitivity, establishing clear procedures for classifying and protecting global information.
