We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead and manage our program’s executive support group. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and demonstrate effective integration within a multi-contractor government team.
The responsibilities of the Program Director encompass overall project management, including finance, communication, coordination of deliverables, and ensuring accountability for program-oriented work efforts. This role involves creating scope documents based on sanctioned charters, tracking key milestones, and adjusting project plans, budget requests, and resources to align with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical liaison to customers for verification and validation of program requirements.
- Oversee budgets, costs, schedules, and deliverables associated with the program.
- Provide leadership and direction to program teams, ensuring all initiatives meet or exceed customer expectations and contractual obligations.
- Manage all activities related to the Performance Work Statement (PWS), guaranteeing tasks are executed, and deliverables produced as outlined.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills to oversee both personnel and subcontractor teams.
- Guide Project Managers and Leads, fostering a culture of delivery excellence.
- Possess experience with the Risk Management Framework, DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process, and NIST Security Controls.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to align IT infrastructure services with agency objectives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the contract, ensuring overall performance meets requirements and service levels.
- Drive recommendations through implementation while maintaining a positive work environment.
