About the Role
In the role of Program Chief Engineer, you will take charge of defining and steering the system architecture, technical roadmap, and engineering excellence. You will lead a talented, multi-disciplinary team of engineers, ensuring all systems achieve the highest standards of performance, reliability, and mission success, particularly in demanding maritime conditions. - Architectural Design Authority: Act as the ultimate technical authority for system architecture, guiding design decisions and balancing critical trade-offs across all engineering domains (mechanical, electrical, software, autonomy, acoustics, materials).
- System Integration & Performance: Supervise the entire development lifecycle, from defining requirements and conceptual design to detailed design, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Test & Evaluation: Establish and manage the test and evaluation strategy, including setting acceptance criteria, conducting test readiness reviews, and supporting customer acceptance testing.
- Technical Problem Solving: Drive the resolution of complex technical issues, acting as a hands-on expert while guiding teams through challenging design and integration tasks.
