About the job
Location: Madrid (Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote each week)
Role Overview
Ebury seeks a Product Manager focused on Financial Systems and General Ledger Architecture. This position sits within the Product and Finance Technology team. The goal: create a daily-updated Projected Balance Sheet that supports timely, data-driven hedging decisions for the Asset Liability Management (ALM) function. This helps protect the group from currency risk before the books close.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Ledger Integrity: Design and manage the logic that turns transactional events into daily General Ledger postings.
- Projected Balance Sheets: Build capabilities for ALM to access a live balance sheet, enabling intra-month hedging of FX exposure.
- Multi-Entity & Consolidation: Address the challenges of a multi-entity group. Define how local entity balance sheets in their functional currencies are converted and consolidated into the Group reporting currency.
- FX Exposure Management: Identify and analyze currency exposure, including translation risk (from consolidating multi-currency balance sheets) and transaction risk (daily FX fluctuations within sub-ledgers).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between the Treasurer and Head of Accounting. Challenge current manual processes and shift toward automated, system-driven financial logic.
What Ebury Offers

Technical & Domain Expertise
This is a specialized role for those with a strong background in financial systems, multi-entity accounting, and FX logic at the posting level.
