About the Role

Chime is on the lookout for a talented Data Platform Product Manager specializing in Data Foundations & Insights to help us enhance the way data is structured, accessed, and utilized across our organization. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and various cross-functional teams to convert intricate stakeholder requirements into robust, scalable data products. You'll serve as an integrated product partner within XFN squads, taking ownership of data foundations that optimize time-to-insight, self-service capabilities, and data reliability as Chime continues its growth journey.

The base salary for this position starts at $207,000.00, reaching up to $244,000.00, based on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees are eligible for bonuses, a competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.

This position requires in-office work in San Francisco from Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product strategy and execution for data foundations and insights that support core products.
  • Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to develop scalable, self-service data platforms and tools.
  • Act as the data subject-matter expert within cross-functional squads, translating stakeholder needs into scalable, reusable data products and solutions.
  • Enhance time-to-insight and data cycle time for various business, product, and compliance use cases.
  • Boost stakeholder satisfaction by delivering reliable, well-documented, and trusted data products.
  • Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical partners throughout the organization.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Proven product management experience managing platform, data, or analytics products in complex organizations.
  • Previous experience in fintech, financial services, or highly regulated environments is preferred.
  • Strong partnership with data engineering teams on foundational components such as data models, pipelines, or metrics layers.
  • Proficient in functioning as an embedded PM within cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at translating ambiguous stakeholder inquiries into scalable product solutions.
  • Experience supporting analytics, reporting, or insight-generation for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
