Your collaboration with our compute, storage, infrastructure, and facility teams will be crucial to ensure seamless and low-latency connectivity throughout our operational landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage high-throughput, low-latency WAN connections across our data center sites.Demonstrate expertise in optical transport technologies (DWDM, ROADM, coherent optics) alongside platforms like Ciena.Lead comprehensive carrier engagements: circuit procurement, contract negotiation, SLA management, and issue escalation.Continuously monitor and enhance interconnect performance, focusing on routing efficiency, packet loss, and bandwidth utilization.Coordinate with ICT and facility teams on physical fiber entries, cross-connects, and demarcation points.Develop and sustain WAN capacity models; anticipate bandwidth requirements aligned with our deployment roadmap.Automate the configuration, provisioning, and oversight of WAN infrastructure.Implement and manage site-to-site VPNs, private peering, and direct connections with hyperscalers.Troubleshoot intricate network challenges.Establish best practices for redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery.Collaborate with infrastructure engineering, SREs, and software teams to enhance our systems.Support future expansion efforts by contributing to global network growth strategies.
