Role Overview: Product Engineer (New York City)

Product Engineers at Blee deliver full-stack features that shape the experience for enterprise customers. This role involves building and launching product features based on real customer needs and the company roadmap. Work happens in a startup setting where priorities shift quickly and collaboration is key.

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and release full-stack product features guided by roadmap priorities and customer input.
  • Participate in sprint planning and code reviews to estimate, plan, and work closely with other engineers.
  • Translate product specifications into technical designs in partnership with the Product Manager.
  • Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) to reduce manual QA work.
  • Respond to customer-specific requests, delivering tailored solutions when prioritized by the Product Manager.
  • Help reduce technical debt by improving performance and developer experience.
  • Document technical decisions, including architecture changes, API contracts, and design choices.
