We are seeking a talented Product Designer to become part of our dynamic design team at Foxglove. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and fellow designers to enhance and expand our web and desktop applications. Your contributions will span the entire product design process—from initial exploration and prototyping to delivering polished user interfaces and features—all while gaining a profound understanding of our users: engineers developing autonomous vehicles and robotics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance features within Foxglove’s web and desktop applications.

  • Work collaboratively with engineers and product managers to develop product solutions.

  • Translate complex technical workflows into user-friendly experiences.

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces to convey design concepts.

  • Engage in user research and integrate feedback from robotics engineers.

  • Rapidly iterate designs based on product objectives, user input, and technical considerations.

  • Contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency across the product suite.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in product design.

  • A compelling portfolio showcasing strong UX, interaction design, and visual craftsmanship.

  • Comfortable designing technical and data-driven interfaces.

  • Proficient in Figma and AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.

  • Enjoys collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams.

  • Able to articulate design thought processes and welcomes constructive feedback.

  • Eager to deepen knowledge in robotics, developer tools, and complex technologies.
