Why This Role Matters
- The Procurement Assistant plays a crucial role in the seamless execution of projects by ensuring that materials and services are procured and delivered promptly. By facilitating efficient procurement processes, this position helps minimize delays, manage costs, and enable project teams to operate effectively.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and management of all purchasing activities related to materials and services, which includes:
- Receiving Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
- Issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
- Drafting Purchase Orders (POs) and liaising with vendors
- Monitoring deliveries and processing payments
- Assist the Purchasing Team and Purchasing Supervisor in the development of Purchase Orders and various departmental reports.
- Help expedite material deliveries to ensure they arrive on time at project sites.
- Create internal documentation such as memos, reports, bid analyses, vendor registration forms, and other procurement-related documents.
- Coordinate with project sites and internal departments regarding open POs, unresolved issues, and status updates.
