The Opportunity
As a Privacy Counsel within our Product, Privacy, and Policy Legal Team, you will:
Provide expert legal advice to product, engineering, and business teams on data privacy, security, and compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Deliver actionable legal insights regarding risks and obligations linked to global data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, HIPAA, and U. S. state laws.
Conduct and oversee privacy impact assessments while proactively identifying and mitigating potential privacy risks.
Develop and maintain comprehensive privacy policies, internal guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
Monitor and interpret requirements from global privacy regulations and ensure effective implementation.
Collaborate with Security and Support to address customer inquiries and data subject requests.
Draft, review, and negotiate privacy-related agreements, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), vendor contracts, and privacy terms.
Create and facilitate privacy and data protection training sessions for internal teams.
Support cross-functional technical implementation for privacy compliance initiatives, including data retention, deletion, anonymization, and pseudonymization.
Advise on the implementation of an AI governance program.
Assist in privacy-related mergers and acquisitions integration.
