A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in turbomachinery or propulsion systems design, with a proven track record in turbine development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools. Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively. Experience with rocket engine design and testing is highly desirable.

About the Team:

The propulsion team at Relativity is tasked with the critical development of the engines that will power the Terran R vehicle. We oversee their design from initial concept through to launch and subsequent reusability. Our team collaborates intensively with manufacturing, testing, launch, and integration units, with the goal of developing our engines rapidly to support the Terran R's inaugural launch in 2026. As a member of this team, you will engage in building, testing, and refining the full lifecycle of our Aeon-R engine systems, witnessing their evolution as we propel Terran R into the cosmos.
