The Principal Solutions Architect position at Code Metal is a unique opportunity that lies at the crossroads of engineering, research, and growth. You will play a pivotal role in transforming emerging opportunities into tangible technical capabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new technical opportunities and architectures that broaden the application of Code Metal’s technology in real-world systems for both government and commercial clients.
- Quickly explore new technical domains and assess alternative solution strategies through thorough analysis, trade studies, and feasibility evaluations.
- Convert ambiguous challenges into credible technical solutions, system concepts, and proposal content.
- Oversee the execution of proof-of-concept (PoC) system designs, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to define scope and provide technical insights throughout.
- Spot opportunities to highlight product differentiators while developing solutions and PoCs for clients.
- Collaborate across engineering, research, product, and growth teams.
Requirements:
- Robust background in computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Capability to swiftly absorb knowledge about unfamiliar domains and integrate new technical information.
- Experience collaborating with clients to devise solutions and implement successful proofs of concept.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem decomposition.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively to technical proposals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing or architecting complex technical systems.
- Diverse software experience across one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Rust, Python, Verilog/VHDL, MATLAB.
