Job Overview:
Join the talented Cloud Operations team at Extreme Networks, where we are committed to developing scalable, secure cloud-based solutions. We are currently looking for a proficient Cloud Test Bed Engineer who will be instrumental in managing and optimizing cloud test beds for both functional and performance testing. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring our cloud environments are correctly configured, automated, and optimized for comprehensive end-to-end testing, which includes verifying core functionalities and evaluating system performance under substantial loads.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, manage, and enhance cloud test bed environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure for both functional and performance testing.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams to establish testing requirements for functional validation and performance assessments.
• Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to provision, automate, and scale test environments supporting both functional and performance testing.
• Ensure cloud test beds accurately mirror production environments and effectively simulate real-world traffic and loads for performance evaluations.
• Automate the setup and teardown of cloud test environments, streamlining continuous integration and testing processes.
• Implement monitoring solutions to track critical metrics for functional validation and performance testing.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues within test environments to minimize downtime and maintain testing efficiency.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and functional bugs together with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely fixes during testing phases.
• Continuously refine and enhance test bed management for availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
• A minimum of 13 years of experience in CloudOps or DevOps, with a focus on cloud application management.
