Your Role

As a Principal Designer on the Learner UX team, you will serve as a senior individual contributor, dedicated to shaping the future of Udemy's learner experience across both mobile and web platforms. You will elevate design standards throughout the organization by delivering outstanding design work that motivates your peers, influences decision-makers, and delights our learners.

In this capacity, you will:

  • Create flagship learning experiences that deliver comprehensive solutions, balancing usability, delight, and visual excellence.
  • Set a new benchmark in motion and interaction design, enhancing clarity, sophistication, and engagement through animations and transitions.
  • Investigate and prototype AI-driven experiences that tailor learning paths, simplify workflows, and unlock new creative opportunities.
  • Uphold high visual design standards for the team, ensuring that our UI is not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing and engaging.
