Your Impact
As our Principal NPI Program Manager, you will oversee the operational framework that transitions Axon's products from inception to market. You will serve as the cross-functional leader, collaborating closely with Product, Finance, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, and IT from the initial SKU request to the finalized product availability.
Your role involves designing, executing, and continuously refining the NPI process, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and responsiveness in a critical area bridging product strategy and commercial delivery. You will address challenges that influence the design and market success of Axon's products and engage with senior leadership across various functional domains.
What You’ll Do
Location: Seattle, WA (flexible for other Axon hubs)
Reports to: Director, Chief of Staff (Controllership)
- NPI Process Ownership
- Manage the complete NPI workflow for all SKU types (hardware, software, services) from the initial submission through cross-functional reviews to the Ready-to-Quote and Ready-to-Ship phases.
- Enhance the NPI intake process (ServiceNow) and all associated downstream workflows across D365 and Salesforce.
- Lead the bundle creation during pricing cycles, collaborating with product teams to align on product visions while creating new bundles and updating existing ones.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks for SKU and bundle creation, list price adjustments, product end-of-life procedures, and SKU exchanges.
- Clarify priorities and roles during high-activity periods (pricing weeks, product launches, M&A integrations) ensuring the team is equipped with necessary tools, training, and support.
