Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Engage with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support technical solutions utilizing comprehensive development tools and technologies. Collaborate with seasoned developers in creating data pipelines, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems. Leverage programming languages such as Java, Scala, and Python, alongside open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, Elasticache, and Snowflake. Stay abreast of technological trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor fellow engineers. Partner with digital product managers to deliver impactful cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans toward financial wellness. Design and implement optimized target data models for search, reporting, and analytics. Identify and analyze quality data sources for target models. Develop data pipelines, including ETL programs, to extract and transform data from various sources. Test and deploy data pipelines to comply with Capital One's data governance and security standards. Establish audits and checks to ensure data pipelines function effectively. Conduct unit tests and code reviews to ensure high-quality, performant code. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.4+ years of experience in application development.
