Required Experience and Skills:Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must obtain and maintain appropriate insurance licenses. Preferred: Relevant professional designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM, etc.). Travel requirement: Limited to less than 25%. Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Ability to thrive in a matrix organizational structure. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on clarity, diplomacy, and persuasion. Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the Alabama offices to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Foster a workplace culture that aligns with IMA's core values.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the team.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to attract and mentor top Producers in the Alabama market.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels for service teams, focusing on talent recruitment and retention.
  • Oversee the development and tracking of a budget and financial plan aligned with organizational goals.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects and clients, participating in meetings as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison with external organizations, trade associations, and industry groups.
  • Work closely with local and corporate leadership to reach office and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Legal team to safeguard IMA’s interests.
  • Provide mentorship to associates as needed.
  • Embodies and promotes the IMA culture, motivating others through actions.
  • Engage team members by understanding their personal interests and experiences.
  • Encourage associates to appreciate the value of being part of IMA.
