Your primary responsibility will involve supporting the transition from an Oracle database to a PostgreSQL environment, along with the proactive management of database systems. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the migration process from Oracle to Microsoft Azure PostgreSQL database.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, gaining a deep understanding of business data to propose and implement effective solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate high-level technical goals into detailed requirements.

- Ensure optimal database availability and performance, allocating resources for resilience and speed.

- Assist in performance tuning and monitoring of database systems to ensure security and minimize downtime while improving maintenance practices.

- Work within an Agile framework to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

- Proven experience in database development and management.

- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database migration strategies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
