Qualifications
ResponsibilitiesAdhere to rigorous safety standards in all activities. Perform routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of solar photovoltaic systems. Possess a solid understanding of NEC code, electrical theory, and industry best practices. Conduct DC and AC testing including polarity checks, open circuit voltage, grounding continuity, communication, insulation resistance testing, and I-V curve tracing. Maintain a meticulous schedule for routine maintenance and repairs on equipment including but not limited to single-axis trackers, central or string inverters, transformers, AC and DC disconnects, and substation equipment. Manage company property including vehicles, tools, meters, and inventory. Document service reports, inspection records, safety paperwork, and spare parts inventory. Provide training on maintenance and troubleshooting to technicians and staff as necessary. Identify and mitigate safety hazards effectively. Qualification RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in PV maintenance, covering PV DC operations, AC medium voltage systems, substation operations, and network communications.
