In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for three primary functions: class preparation, classroom management, and educational administrative tasks. Your mission will be to meticulously prepare students for examinations, develop each day's instructional plan, and curate essential classroom materials. Whether through in-person or online classes, your adaptability to various teaching methods is crucial.
As a mentor, you will oversee student management, ensuring they maintain satisfactory academic progress. This includes coordinating tutoring support, keeping records of student grades, attendance, remediation documentation, and other relevant communications. You will also play a key role in instructor evaluations, educational in-service plans, and student counseling to foster motivation while upholding professional standards.
We are specifically looking for instructors in Patient Care Skills or Applied Neurology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned classes and develop coursework for our Physical Therapist Assistant program, with mentoring provided as needed.
- Serve as a primary or lab instructor based on expertise and program needs.
- Adhere to accreditation standards, school policies, and curricula.
- Monitor student progress and provide guidance throughout the program.
- Assist in the ongoing development and review of curricula.
- Participate in program syllabus development, mission, rules, training methods, and evaluation materials.
- Engage in school activities such as orientation, staff, and faculty meetings, advisory board meetings, and student functions, as scheduled.
- Contribute to admission protocols, test proctoring, and interviews for the admissions committee when possible.
- Collect and review feedback from students, faculty, and staff to enhance the program.
