Education and Experience:Must be eligible to work in the United States. High School Diploma or GED/local equivalent is required. Willingness to accommodate shift changes based on business demands. PTCB certification or successful completion within six months of hire, or current enrollment in an Accredited School of Pharmacy. Possession of a valid Pharmacy Technician State License. Ability to lift 50 pounds is necessary. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to meet compliance obligations for customer-mandated on-site requirements. A valid driver’s license is required. Key Capabilities:Prior experience in handling radiopharmaceuticals is preferred. Experience in processing prescriptions and/or preparing pharmaceuticals is advantageous. Familiarity with sterile compounding processes is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and professionalism are essential. Strong organizational and prioritization abilities are necessary. Commitment to high ethical standards in decision-making and actions is expected.

Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at rlsbio, you will embark on an exciting journey to acquire valuable skills in the field of pharmacy, steering away from conventional pharmacy hurdles like drive-throughs and insurance issues. Your role will immerse you in key areas including aseptic processes, radiopharmaceuticals, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

In this position, you will be instrumental in supporting pharmacy operations by processing prepared products and managing the handling, packaging, and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compounding and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals under the guidance of a licensed Pharmacist.
  • Preparing and packaging radiopharmaceuticals for customer delivery.
  • Conducting quality control assessments on compounded products.
  • Managing and maintaining inventory within the facility.
  • Executing disinfection tasks in the cleanroom and restocking sterile supplies.
  • Maintaining regulatory program documentation adhering to good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Processing and/or dual verifying prescription entries.
  • Performing leukocyte labeling procedures.
  • Undertaking additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacist.
