Your Core ResponsibilitiesBlack Box Reverse Engineering and Analysis: Utilize black-box analysis techniques to understand complex system behaviors, pinpointing performance bottlenecks and optimization prospects. Design and conduct statistical experiments to elucidate real-world phenomena. Quantitative Research: Harness large datasets to enhance understanding of exchange technology. Experimentation & Prototyping: Develop, implement, and assess cutting-edge ideas, experiments, and technologies. Create rapid internal prototypes to gauge performance and practical applicability. Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with traders, software and hardware engineers, and infrastructure teams to share insights and implement solutions. System Analysis: Analyze vast amounts of network data to discern patterns, validate hypotheses, and optimize system performance. Your Skills and ExperienceStrong understanding of computer internals, networking, and Linux (at least two of the three). Proficient in reverse engineering techniques. Curiosity-driven individual with a detective-like mindset. Think Sherlock Holmes on a quest for the elusive microsecond. Comprehension of intricate, custom networks and networking stacks. Experience in data and system analysis using Python. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision following internal training. Capable of functioning autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team, consistently seeking competitive advantages.
