About the Role:

The People Team at Notion is focused on cultivating a generational company that empowers our employees to achieve their best and most impactful work. In this dynamic role, you will engage at various levels—from collaborating with our leadership team to shaping strategic people initiatives, to providing one-on-one coaching to team members. This position requires a presence in our San Francisco or New York office on designated days.

What You'll Achieve:

  • Forge strong relationships with Notion's leadership team, acting as a liaison between executive stakeholders and the People Team.

  • Advise on, develop, and implement people strategies that align with and propel our business objectives.

  • Collaborate with leaders on talent planning, organizational design, retention strategies, and change management initiatives.

  • Utilize systems thinking to enhance operational efficiencies—identifying challenges and translating them into actionable improvements across people programs.

  • Leverage people data to provide insights that identify retention risks and help ensure we retain top talent.

  • Contribute to and refine the 360 performance review process, including manager calibrations, training sessions, compensation planning, and hosting office hours.

  • Guide managers in navigating change, enhancing performance management, and fostering employee engagement through effective communication and ongoing feedback.

  • Offer tailored performance management support, design and execute development plans, and enhance training for managers to boost team performance.
