About the People Business Partner Team

The People Business Partner team at RealtimeBoard Global includes four professionals who support the Engineering Product Development (EPD) organization. The group works collaboratively, sharing knowledge and approaches while focusing on both strategic planning and day-to-day support. Each partner takes responsibility for specific Engineering teams, managing their people processes from start to finish and contributing to broader projects around organizational design and talent development.

Role Overview

This 12-month maternity cover position serves as a People Business Partner for the Engineering organization in London. The role balances close business partnering with the structured rollout of Talent & Growth initiatives. The aim: deliver consistent, high-quality people processes across the department while supporting both managers and teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with Engineering managers to identify team priorities and turn them into actionable people strategies.
  • Handle employee relations and HR matters for assigned client groups, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Oversee performance, promotion, and talent review cycles for Engineering teams, ensuring timely and fair outcomes.
  • Analyze people data (such as engagement, attrition, and performance metrics) to spot trends and suggest practical solutions.
  • Coach managers on feedback, performance management, and team dynamics to help them lead more effectively.
  • Coordinate and implement established Talent & Growth programs for Engineering, including talent reviews and development activities.

This role is based in London, UK, and is a fixed-term maternity cover.
