Role ResponsibilitiesRework, assemble, and debug printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)Inspect incoming boards against IPC-610 Class 2/3 standardsApply, remove, and rework conformal coating, staking, and other polymeric adhesivesLead form components to align with engineering footprints and specificationsCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support new developmentsWork with design engineers to document and develop future activitiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent2+ years of hands-on experience as a technician in aerospace, automotive, or similar industriesProficient in electrical rework and soldering skills, including 0201 componentsExperience with wire crimping and harness assemblyFamiliarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc.) for assembly tasksExceptional attention to detail requiredOnsite presence required 5 days a weekPreferred QualificationsAssociate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering technology or equivalent technical programJ-STD-001 certificationExperience working in a clean room environment

PCBA Technician

As a PCBA Technician at Astranis, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, providing crucial support for avionics, power, and payload systems. Your role will involve the assembly and testing of an extensive range of circuit boards, harnesses, and various testing equipment. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you will tackle R&D and production system challenges, resolving any issues that arise.
