Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the payroll processes for the entire organization, and potentially at the divisional level.
- Lead a team of payroll administrators, ensuring their tasks are executed efficiently and that accurate payroll reports are generated to support the company’s financial records.
- Audit all payrolls to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and awards, including tax and superannuation obligations.
- Efficiently manage company benefit programs, such as medical care, pensions, and bonuses.
- Possibly oversee the calculation, payment, and reconciliation of group tax.
- Maintain accurate payroll and tax records for all staff members.
- Balance monthly accounts and prepare reports for the accounting department.
- Manage payroll systems and recommend necessary changes or upgrades.
- Submit management reports and collaborate with HR on new appointments, terminations, and other relevant matters.
