THE ROLE

We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Partnership Development Manager to join our esteemed team and leverage our exceptional resources to forge impactful marketing partnerships. Sotheby’s Brand Partnerships team is dedicated to creating tailored partnerships with like-minded organizations across various sectors, capitalizing on the Sotheby’s brand and its extensive reach in the realms of art, culture, and luxury. Our comprehensive partnership model encompasses digital and print media, experiential marketing, and cutting-edge commerce solutions. Our partners include top-tier global brands from luxury goods, technology, financial services, automotive, hospitality, real estate, and travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Innovate new partnership formats and strategies with a strong emphasis on revenue generation and business growth.
  • Lead the strategic creation of significant and engaging brand activations across digital, physical, and content partnerships.
  • Facilitate the acquisition process by managing outreach and prospecting efforts.
  • Deliver compelling pitches to potential partners.
  • Design, develop, and present high-quality partnership proposals that articulate a clear and persuasive narrative, supported by comprehensive research and strategic insights.
  • Oversee the entire partnership execution process, ensuring seamless management from inception to completion while acting as the primary account manager.
  • Actively nurture and advise partners on processes, market opportunities, and strategic collaborations.
  • Manage operational aspects of partner activations, including logistics, compliance, buildout, permitting, and on-site execution.
  • Supervise contract management, benefit fulfillment, financial oversight, invoicing, and reporting procedures.
