About the Role

We are currently seeking a part-time (0.4FTE) classroom teacher for Years 1 and 2, working on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The ideal candidate will:

  • Take an active role in the Christian formation of students.
  • Provide pastoral care rooted in genuine Christian faith.
  • Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere and promote cross-cultural understanding.
  • Implement biblically grounded, Christ-centered, culturally relevant, and academically challenging educational approaches—familiarity with Explicit Instruction is preferred.
  • Teach the prescribed curriculum while cultivating students’ interests, skills, and abilities in a supportive learning environment.
  • Engage with the school community through participation in staff meetings, extracurricular activities, and communication with parents.

  • Possess a relevant bachelor's degree and any additional teaching qualifications (e.g., Master of Education).
  • Exhibit a passion for positively influencing students' minds and hearts in a secure and nurturing environment.
  • Demonstrate relational skills and a commitment to a comprehensive approach to teaching and student welfare.
  • Be eager to collaborate with colleagues in the development and execution of teaching and learning programs.
  • Embrace a servant-hearted approach coupled with a vibrant Christian faith.
