Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and friendly Optometrist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be essential in delivering comprehensive care to patients in long-term care settings. This position offers a unique chance to positively impact the lives of seniors while collaborating with a team of committed healthcare professionals. You will have the opportunity to communicate with a complete healthcare team, including nurses, primary physicians, health aides, family members, and ophthalmologists, as well as our supportive administrative and professional staff.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive routine and medical eye exams
  • Perform dilated exams
  • Provide diabetic eye evaluations
  • Treat infections and injuries
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases
  • Work comfortably with the geriatric population

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) license
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet for up to 6-8 hours daily
