As a Part-Time Leasing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the living experience for our residents while effectively marketing and leasing our apartments to prospective tenants. Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere through exceptional customer service, ensuring residents feel valued and part of a thriving community.
- Plan and host engaging resident events to promote community involvement.
- Assist in recruiting and training new team members to strengthen our leasing team.
- Manage service requests from residents promptly and efficiently.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and presentation of the office, common areas, and model apartments.
- Guide residents through the move-in and move-out processes smoothly.
- Support the apartment turnover process to maintain high standards of quality.
In addition, you will:
- Market and lease apartments to prospective residents, showcasing the property’s features and benefits.
- Welcome prospective residents, providing tours of model and market-ready units.
- Assist applicants with the completion of online applications.
- Respond promptly to internet inquiries, answer phone calls from potential tenants, and conduct property tours in accordance with training guidelines.
- Work towards optimizing occupancy rates while maximizing rental income.
- Employ effective sales and marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and achieve occupancy goals.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our property and competitor offerings.
Administrative Duties:
- Conduct market surveys as needed to assess competitive positioning.
- Collect deposits and fees associated with resident move-ins.
- Ensure accurate preparation of lease documents and maintain a thorough understanding of lease-related paperwork.
- Keep precise records of prospective tenant traffic and leasing data, assisting with necessary data entry.
- Inspect units quarterly and prior to resident move-ins.
- Audit lease and renewal files for compliance and submission of bonuses to the Property Manager.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.
Qualifications:
- A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact in the community.
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate information clearly.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Basic to intermediate math skills.
- Computer literacy is essential.
