About the Role

As a key player in our kitchen team, you will report directly to the Kitchen Production Manager. Your primary responsibilities include supporting daily kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and organized workspace, delivering top-notch food quality, and providing outstanding customer service.

In this position, you will actively manage Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) documentation, ensure correct First Expired, First Out (FEFO) freezer organization, monitor preparation levels, and uphold accurate tracking of Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) seafood.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare meal ingredients and keep the food preparation area clean and hygienic.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing of all food preparation areas in accordance with hygiene standards.
  • Assist with unloading food deliveries and verifying stock inventory accuracy.
  • Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and FEFO practices to ensure food freshness and quality.
  • Maintain precise HACCP records, including best-before date tracking and preparation level monitoring for both peak and non-peak times.
  • Follow ASC and MSC recording procedures to monitor the daily use of certified seafood, ensuring proper separation from non-certified seafood.
  • Support kitchen operations as per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Adhere to high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (Q. S. C.) to ensure food safety and hygiene.
  • Contribute positively to store operations, ensuring compliance with Functional Commercial Review Standards.

  • Able to endure long hours of standing and thrive in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Consistently uphold high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
  • Available to work AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
