In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the VP of Engineering and be instrumental in building, maintaining, and enhancing our LAMP-based web applications while ensuring the stability and performance of our production environment. This position requires taking ownership of end-to-end feature development, diagnosing complex issues, and managing urgent production incidents with professionalism and expertise. You will also be hands-on in AWS, managing infrastructure changes, optimizing deployments, and enhancing overall system reliability. Collaboration with our web development team in China will be essential to ensure alignment on feature development, code quality, and project timelines. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who excels in fast-paced settings and enjoys working on both application development and modern cloud operations.Important Note:Applicants must be local to or willing to relocate to the Calabasas area, as we operate on a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 remote).Key Responsibilities:Full-Stack Development: Architect, implement, and maintain features across our LAMP-based web applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.Code Debugging and Troubleshooting: Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in both production and development environments, prioritizing urgent incident response.AWS Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and manage AWS application infrastructure, focusing on scaling, security, and cost-effectiveness.Collaboration with Global Teams: Engage closely with our China-based web development team to synchronize feature development, conduct thorough code reviews, and adhere to release schedules, ensuring cohesive cooperation across international teams.
