We believe that many of the technologies necessary to tackle the climate crisis are already available; our goal is to facilitate their swift, equitable, and widespread adoption. We create and implement adoption models that outline actionable strategies for accelerating decarbonization, while providing startups with tailored resources, connections to customers and capital partners, and non-dilutive funding to enhance deployment efforts.Our energy storage initiatives encompass various programs, including the Energy Storage Deployment Accelerator, which is currently underway; the Energy Storage Capital Challenge, completed in 2025; and a new deployment-focused program set to launch in 2026. These efforts closely align with New York’s energy storage innovation ecosystem, fostering strong partnerships with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, New Energy New York, and the New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology Consortium, among others. Additionally, The Clean Fight manages concurrent programs in building decarbonization, including the Deployment Grant Fund, Empire Technology Prize, and the Affordable Housing Deployment Accelerator.Supported by NYSERDA, the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Economic Development Administration, the Wells Fargo Foundation, Breakthrough Energy, and Builders Vision, The Clean Fight is a chapter of New Energy Nexus, a global nonprofit operating across the U.S., China, India, Southeast Asia, and East Africa. Our mission is to achieve a 100% clean energy economy for all by empowering diverse entrepreneurs through funding, accelerators, and networks.About the RoleThe Energy Storage Program Associate Manager will work closely with the Program Director and The Clean Fight team to design, manage, and execute essential programming across current and future initiatives. Responsibilities encompass the entire program lifecycle, including startup sourcing and recruitment, coordination of selection processes, development of curriculum, management of technical assistance providers, planning and execution of events, engagement with startups and corporate partners, and related program services.
