Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at Cinteot. In this role, you will serve as the go-to expert for our client's next-generation firewall solutions, ensuring optimal security and performance of network operations. Key Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert for the customer’s next-generation firewall solutions.Oversee and maintain firewall operations while documenting the current environment comprehensively.Integrate change management into all processes and procedures to ensure seamless operations.Generate in-depth technical reports covering firewall block lists, device statuses, change management, hardware/software upgrades, and other relevant areas.Analyze and assess any anomalous network and system activities to enhance security protocols.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving a diverse range of client issues, demonstrating expertise in change control policies and procedures.Possess a solid understanding of DOD information assurance policies and regulations.Conduct thorough analyses of network security requirements and contribute to the design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct network issues both remotely and on-site.Administer and maintain perimeter security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
