In this pivotal role, you will take charge of leading, supervising, and coordinating project activities throughout all phases of bridge projects.Key Responsibilities Ensure the successful management of projects, focusing on planning, quality assurance, deadlines, and financial oversight to maintain the high standards of the firm’s services. Oversee all project aspects, including proposals, contract negotiations, Project Work Plans (scope, fees, hours, schedule, budget), and final agreements in collaboration with the project team. Plan, organize, and manage the workload of project staff effectively. Monitor project costs to ensure financial delivery within budget constraints. Review invoice charges for accuracy, coordinate customer billing with the Accounting Department, and follow up on outstanding invoices as necessary. Prepare monthly financial reports detailing project progress, month-end closeouts, and projections. Address and resolve all project-related issues promptly. Qualifications Must possess a New York State Professional Engineer license. A minimum of 8-15 years of experience in Bridge Project Management, with a background in NYDOT projects preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage bridge projects and lead teams effectively to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards. Excellent communication skills are essential. Capability to work remotely with team members located in various offices. Experience with local municipality and state projects is a plus.
