Troubleshooting and routine maintenance will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring our equipment remains in peak condition.Key Responsibilities:Configure machinery according to specifications from supervisors or technical documentation.Operate CNC machines for tasks such as cutting, shaping, drilling, or molding materials.Continuously monitor machine operations to ensure they are functioning optimally and producing high-quality output.Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards and achieve production goals.Conduct inspections of finished products to verify they meet quality specifications, making process adjustments as necessary.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.Carry out regular maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement.Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.Maintain detailed records of production outputs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.Collaborate with team members, including supervisors and quality control personnel, to enhance production processes and resolve issues.Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Completion of a 2-year trade school certification is preferred.Experience with CNC machining, particularly with Mazak vertical machines, is highly desirable.Proficient in G Code.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of machine tooling.Experience in performing routine maintenance on modern CNC equipment.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.Capability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 pounds.Strong commitment to safety and compliance with safety regulations.Willingness to work around heat-producing equipment safely and effectively.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
