Your commitment to quality and ongoing professional development can kickstart your career as an interpreter today!Key Responsibilities:Maintain compliance with all Baystate Interpreters, Inc. policies regarding information security and confidentiality, including HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and other relevant regulations.Deliver accurate on-site interpretation between English and designated target languages.Adhere to interpreter protocols and procedures as outlined by Baystate Interpreters, Inc. and respective clients.Follow established ethics standards, including those set by IMIA, NCIHC, ATA, NAJIT, and ISO, upholding confidentiality, accuracy, impartiality, professionalism, and cultural competence in every assignment.Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with patients, customers, healthcare providers, and clinical staff.Continuously enhance specialized vocabulary and subject matter knowledge (e.g., medical, legal, social services) to effectively meet client needs.Exhibit professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality throughout the interpretation process.
