Our focus on quality and training can help you launch your career as an interpreter today!Key Responsibilities:Comply with all Baystate Interpreters, Inc. policies concerning information security and confidentiality, including but not limited to HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and other relevant regulations.Provide precise on-site interpretation between English and the designated target languages.Adhere to interpreter protocols and procedures as outlined by Baystate Interpreters, Inc. and respective clients.Uphold all interpreter ethics standards set by organizations such as the IMIA, NCIHC, ATA, NAJIT, and ISO, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, impartiality, professionalism, and cultural competence in every assignment.Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with patients, clients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff.Continuously enhance your specialized vocabulary and subject matter expertise (e.g., medical, legal, social services) to cater to client needs.Exhibit professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality in all interactions.
