As we grow, we are looking for a (Senior) Audit Manager to join our Audit Business Unit in West Flanders at our offices in Waregem, Wevelgem, and/or Loppem.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing your clients, leading your own team, and reporting directly to the audit partner or audit director.You will oversee the execution of various audit assignments, carrying the technical responsibility for your audit files. You will determine the audit approach, ensure the completion of audit tasks, and provide expert advice to your audit partner, including the preparation of recommendation letters and auditor’s reports. You will monitor the correct execution of the work program, review the analyses and conclusions documented by the audit team, and actively manage the budget.You will review complex sections of the audit and will be involved in intricate files.You will have an in-depth understanding of your clients’ businesses, providing them with insights into the reliability of their financial reporting. You will act as their audit ‘companion on the journey’.Utilizing sophisticated tools, you will gather valuable information and quickly identify financial risks.You will be familiar with standard audit procedures and tools, keeping your knowledge up-to-date while assisting in developing new methods and technologies.Additionally, you will contribute to one-off assignments such as statutory assignments assigned to the company auditor, due diligence processes, valuations, subsidy research, attestations, and more.You will act as a coach, ensuring the guidance and knowledge transfer to senior auditors and junior team members.
