In this pivotal role, you will engage in hands-on design and development, architecture, lab testing, and troubleshooting of advanced electronic circuits and systems. Your contributions will enhance the performance standards of our cutting-edge electronics, ensuring their reliability in demanding application environments.Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of both digital and analog electronics for high-power control systems, including Charger DC to DC converters and Motor controller applications.- Take ownership of control boards and related electronics throughout the entire product lifecycle, from specification to design, prototyping, and manufacturing.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, digital control, thermal design, and manufacturing test engineers.- Conduct comprehensive electrical design at the product level, focusing on component selection, branch circuit design, and insulation coordination.Required Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in electrical engineering within a product design and manufacturing setting.- Extensive knowledge of automotive and charger design, as well as familiarity with AIS Standards and Functional Safety (ISO26262).- Proficiency in Altium Designer for schematic and PCB layout design.- Experience in running simulations using tools like LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, and thermal/EMI modeling tools.- Strong background in DC-DC and AC-DC topologies (buck, boost, LLC, flyback, phase-shift full bridge, interleaved designs).- Expertise in designing control algorithms for DC-DC power stages (including voltage/current-mode control and digital control).- Familiarity with high-voltage (400V) EV architectures.- Knowledge of magnetics design and component derating.- Experience with high current power semiconductor selection (IGBTs, MOSFETs, and Diodes) and designing gate drive and protection circuits.- Proficient in schematic capture and power converter circuit simulation tools.- Experience in the selection and integration of DSPs, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices along with their peripheral circuitry (signal conditioning, board-level power supplies).- Skilled in supervising PCB layout to minimize stray inductance and capacitance, ensuring optimal manufacturability, power/signal plane definition, and EMC optimization.- Knowledge of environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for Automotive, Industrial, and Residential applications.
