Qualifications
At Altom Transport, we are dedicated to the safety of our drivers. Our rigorous onboarding and training programs, along with mandatory quarterly safety meetings, ensure that our team is well-equipped to deliver exceptional service. To join us, you must meet the following qualifications:Valid CDL Class A License. Current X endorsement (Hazmat + Tanker). Tanker Endorsement (N) is required. Hazmat Endorsement (H) preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire; assistance available). TWIC Card preferred (or must obtain after hire). Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience within the last 5 years. At least 23 years of age. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a strong safety history. No DUI/OWI violations within the last 5 years. Must not be listed in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse. No at-fault/preventable fatal or rollover accidents in the last 5 years. No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years. No more than 2 CSA moving violations in the last 18 months.

What You'll Do
- Operate tanker trucks to transport bulk liquid materials safely.
- Handle loading and unloading using hoses, pumps, and valves, following all safety procedures.
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting results.
- Keep accurate trip records and logs.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers.
- Comply with DOT, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional presence during all customer interactions.
