Role Overview: Outside Sales Representative
This Outside Sales Representative position is based in Charlotte, NC and focuses on commercial clients. The role centers on building relationships and driving sales for a wide range of commercial door products and related services across the Charlotte region.
What You Will Do
- Connect with key decision-makers to promote DH Pace’s commercial door products and services.
- Communicate with clients to identify sales opportunities and offer consultative solutions.
- Develop relationships with owners and managers of commercial properties, including hospitals, schools, and municipalities.
- Meet or exceed established sales and profit goals.
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates and proposals.
- Assess customer needs in meetings and recommend technical or mechanical solutions tailored to each situation.
- Manage the proposal process from initial contact through closing the sale.
- Follow up to ensure project completion and participate in project management when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Take on other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of three years of outside sales experience.
- Strong understanding of technical applications and mechanical systems.
- Experience reading blueprints, plans, and specifications is a plus.
- Outgoing personality and a natural approach to customer service.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
